Algar Seco is a stretch of rocky coastline. The limestone cliffs have been eroded by the sea and rain, creating a wonderland of caves, grottos, and unique rock formations.
The most famous cave in Algar Seco is A Boneca, a cave with two windows and a view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Legend has it that Algar Seco was formed by the tears of Princess Alfanzina, after her father, the King, ordered her lover to be killed. Her tears eroded the limestone rocks, forming the caves, grottos, and holes in the rocks.

The Romans founded Italica in 206 B.C. It’s reputedly the birthplace of three Roman Emperors — Hadrian, Trajan, and Theodosius. The amphitheater once held 25,000 people, and was the third largest in the Roman Empire.
How it was used in the Game of Thrones !!!
Season 7
In Game of Thrones, Italica serves as the Dragonpit of King’s Landing, which was basically a stable for the Targaryen dragons. It’s the site of a famous scene from the Season 7 finale. There, the heads of the major Westerosi houses meet to negotiate how to deal with the Army of the Dead, the approaching White Walkers.
The Laguna Salada de Torrevieja is one of the saltiest and largest lakes in Europe. It is known for its bright pink color due to a variety of microorganisms typical of saline environments which has made it one of the most popular tourist attractions in the world.
Located just a few miles from Alicante, this lake is found in the beautiful nature reserve of the Costa Blanca in southeast Spain.
The best time to visit this enchanting town is during the late summer, when the colors of its waters reach a maximum intensity of pink, until reaching a sparkling fuchsia.
From mid-August to the end of September the landscape is completed in its maximum splendor with the arrival of over 2,000 flamingos that come to spend their breeding season here.
Benagil Cave is the most famous sea cave in the Algarve. It’s a fascinating rock formation with a big hole in the middle of its roof, which some people call “the eye”. Light streams into the cave through the eye, creating a beautiful effect inside the cave.
Benagil Cave is quite large, and when the tide is low, there is a small beach inside that visitors can stand on. From the beach, you can admire the cathedral-like shape, and take epic photos of the natural cave.
