We study cloud cover, solar activity, weather forecasts and road conditions before deciding where the journey takes us.
The chase is far more than simply waiting. It is about navigating remote Arctic roads, discovering hidden viewpoints, adapting to changing weather, synchronizing maps and weather forecasts/patterns to find pockets of clear skies.
The adrenaline is in embracing the thrill of not knowing what lies ahead.

No two nights are ever the same. Cloud maps. Aurora forecasts. Solar activity. Wind direction. Moonlight. Together, they guide every decision in our pursuit of clear skies.
Even when the lights remain hidden, the journey continues through snow-covered mountains, frozen fjords, quiet forests and some of the world’s most spectacular winter roads.

Day 1
Arrival in Rovaniemi – The Official Hometown of Santa Claus
Drive: Airport → Hotel
