This road trip kicked off in Barcelona and concluded in Lisbon, Portugal. Antoni Gaudi’s surreal architecture – Sagrada Família and Park Güell . The lively and vibrant vibe of Barcelona city and its nightlife. The rugged Costa Brava coastline and the authentic charm of the white fishing village of Cadaqués – ‘serene’, felt like straight from a painting. Tossa De Mar with its picturesque beaches and crystal-clear waters. The ‘La Tomatina’ experience. The energy and spirit of everybody made us realise that this was a memory for a lifetime. The vibe of celebration made the event as lively as ever. The gorgeous old town of Valencia. A day well spent in Albufeira amidst the white-washed houses, vibrant local cafes and the beautiful coastline. Kayaking at the Benagil Beach. The Benagil Cave with the hole in the roof was spectacular. The Algar Seco caves was as unique as it could be. Seeing the sun set from the ‘A Boneca’ cave with the two natural windows felt like a dream. The rock formations, caves and grottos at the Ponta da Piedade were stunning. We did a boat ride which took us inside smaller caves only accessible by sea. We ended on a high note with a pub crawl in Lagos and Lisbon.

The Algarve with its stunning beaches, dramatic coastline and charming villages must be on everybody’s bucketlist.
