The Memories

The Experience

Tradiotional German Beer at the Oktoberfest’2024.
This world-famous beer festival is not just about drinking beer—it’s an all-encompassing cultural experience that mixes joy, music, food, and history. There is a lively sense of camaraderie. The air is filled with the sounds of laughter, cheers, and hearty singing. People raise their beer steins in unison. The passion and spirit of celebration of everybody who attends the fest makes it one of the world’s greatest celebrations.

Camping at the Oktoberfest camping grounds with Stoke Travel Co. and Festanation was a special experience. Met like-minded people from all over the world looking to get high and have fun. Made some good friends and lots of memories.

The next stop was the German Black Forest near the French border. I took the ‘Black Forest High Road’ which is a picturesque route, stretches for about 60 kms, and is a paradise for nature lovers and anyone seeking a glimpse of Germany’s charming countryside. The first stop in Austria was Innsbruck. It is a charming place know for its incredible mountain scenery, Baroque architecture and bustling atmosphere. Next on the list was Ramsau am Dachstein, a charming and picturesque village nestled at the foot of the Dachstein Mountain in Austria. After exploring the village I took the cable car to have a glimpse of the Dachstein Glacier,  and do the Skywalk and Ice Palace.

The most exciting part this road trip was the ‘Grossglockner High Alpine Road’ which is one of the most scenic and exhilarating drives in Austria and arguably in all of Europe. The drive offers jaw-dropping views of Alpine peaks, glaciers, and lush valleys. The road, which is about 48 kms long, takes you to the foot of Grossglockner, Austria’s highest mountain (3,798 m) and is an absolute must for nature lovers, road trip enthusiasts, and anyone seeking adventure in the stunning Alps.

The trip concluded in Prague which felt like stepping back in time. Its fairytale-like beauty, rich history, and vibrant cultural scene make it a city worth exploring for anyone who appreciates art, architecture, history, and good food.
