My love for driving is unparalleled. When I held the wheel for the first time In grade 9, a journey began which has taken me to places. Driving gives me pleasure.
Back in Sept 2023, me and mom were planning to take our long-due vacation. We had never been to Europe before. And, my mom had this life-long dream of seeing Switzerland once.
So, we planned a 20 day road trip in Italy and Switzerland. She is 63 years old so taking public transportation carrying all the luggage around was out of the question.
No exploring other than the mainstream tourist places. Customised trips are ultra expensive. Plus we would have still had to carry our luggage all around the place.
Our trip was a super success. No heavy bags, no changing multiple modes of transport and no extra walking. We really explored quite a few places in a short span of time, all thanks to the car.
It would have been really hectic and tiring and we would not have been able to cover many places. We planned everything on our own because standard tours available in the market are usually over-priced, not much flexible and takes you to places where it is convenient and cost-effective for them.
What I realised is that majority tour operators out there overcharge and don’t go the extra mile to give you the best experience. Same standard itineraries since ages and the same mainstream places of tourist attraction. Few nights in popular cities. Maybe a couple of major tourist attractions. That’s it. Trip is done. What they offer in return for the price we are paying just doesn’t make sense to me and I am just sharing my opinion.
This is the philosophy behind ‘Stress Free Road Trips’. We take the road less taken to witness the extraordinary because we do it out of passion for driving and exploring and it is not just about money in SFRT.

The idea of ‘Stress Free Road Trips’ came to me on the flight back home when a random stranger told me that I had done a good job, gained some experience and now I can bring others along bringing them the joy we felt during a road trip across two of the most beautiful countries in the world. That hit me hard and brought me to this. I am very grateful to God for this conversation. He has his own plans that change our lives forever.
Travelling has always been fascinating and the joy and thrill of exploring new places and meeting new people is unmatched and priceless. Mostly, everybody is passionate when it comes to travelling. A lot of people fancy road trips because they know what it feels like. The car becomes your buddy and takes you to the remotest of places, ‘the hidden gems’ and places inaccessible by public transport. The purpose of this platform is to provide convenient travelling, offbeat quality experiences at a reasonable price.
So, the idea of “Stress Free Road Trips” comes from humble foundations and I’m really grateful that I am getting a chance to create something like this. I hope and wish people find this genuine and give me a chance to take them on a trip that they will remember for a lifetime.
